Bogan Lane Inn

Bogan Lane Inn on Mackinac Island

The Bogan Lane Inn is a small, charming bed and breakfast located east of the Island House Hotel on Bogan Lane, just far enough out of town to assure a quieter setting. You can plan to enjoy Mackinac Island in any season because this Inn offers accommodations year-round.

This is a great choice for the budget minded who want to experience a night on Mackinac Island without a high price tag. There are no private bathrooms, every two bedrooms share a bath. However, the location is convenient and the owners are delightful. Breakfast is served daily featuring fresh baked goods. It is said that the cowboy coffee cake is great! Giddy-up!

This Bed and Breakfast is owned and operated by Patricia (Trish) and Alice Martin who are life-long, year-round residents. They are always willing to share knowledge about the Island with their guests. Make sure you check out their garden and ask Trish about the beautiful old lilac tree by the fence.

Trish Martin is a columnist for the Town Crier, a weekly Mackinac Island Newspaper. Her column, Nature Notes, is filled with information about the flora and fauna of the Island. She also has a beautiful singing voice and shares it with the community throughout the season at various events.

Insider Tip: This Inn has repeat guests so call early (906-847-3439) if you want a reservation during a festival, holiday, or the annual Sailboat Races.
