Inn on Mackinac

The Inn on Mackinac is a charming bed and breakfast with a great location and a reputation for friendly service. Along with its sister property, the Murray Hotel it is open from May through mid-October.

Also, like the guests at the Murray Hotel, you will find fresh baked cookies delivered to your room daily and a little bag of “goodies-to-go” at check-out time. These special touches reflect the personal service at this family-owned and operated Inn.

Rooms at the Inn are fully air conditioned and there is a lovely, comfortable parlor where guests can enjoy reading a good book or visiting with others. There is a beautiful large covered porch and an outdoor patio area on the street side. It is a great place to sip the beverage of your choice and gaze at the Island world as it passes by or to play a game of cards with your buddies! A continental breakfast is served daily and is said to be exceptionally delicious.

The Inn has a private hot tub and a sun deck located at the back of the property where guests are known to relax and re-energize for more Island fun!

There are many packaged deals offered during the season and most include round-trip ferry tickets and a pound of fudge!

Groups are always welcome at the Inn on Mackinac so let the staff help you create the perfect Mackinac Island vacation for your special group. One example of a package would include round-trip ferry tickets, parking on the mainland, lodging, breakfast and dinner, and entrance to Fort Mackinac. Prices vary, although they are known to be affordable, so make sure you get all the details when you make your reservation requests.

Insider Tip: Although this bed and breakfast was built in 1867, it is beautifully kept and offers an affordable option for your Mackinac Island vacation. It is painted in the true Victorian style. See how many paint colors you can count on the outside of the building!
