Stop at a Mackinac Island Bike Rental and you will be ready to cruise! There are several rental shops on the Island, most located downtown near hotels and boat docks.

Orr Kid's Bike Rental shop has been family owned and operated since 1968. You can choose a single speed, 7-speed, 21-speed mountain bike, or tandem, as well as Burley carts and tagalongs. They have a delicious Bike and Dine menu so you can picnic on the trail.

Rybas Bicycle Rentals

Ryba’s Bicycle Rentals offer single speed, three speed, mountain, tandem, three-speed tandem, tagalongs, baby carts, child carriers, and electric wheelchairs. They have hourly and 24-hour rates.

Bike Shop

Mackinac Island Bike Shop has two locations, one on Main Street and one on Hoban Street adjacent to the Lake View Hotel. They offer narrated bike tours daily.

Mackinac Wheels
Mackinac Wheels is located just east of the Marina. It is not only a Mackinac Island Bike Rental, but also specializes in repairs. You can even rent jogging strollers!

Lakeside Bikes

Lakeside Bikes located by the Arnold Dock gives a discount when you turn in your Arnold Line ferry ticket stub.

Biking is a wonderful mode of transportation. It allows you the freedom to explore Mackinac Island on your own terms. There are bike trails that lead through the beautiful wooded areas, inland and along the bluff, of Mackinac State Park. For the less adventuresome, just follow the paved roads or bike paths. They are all labeled for your convenience.
The Shore Road is a great way to circle the Island. Best of all, you won’t get lost.

Insider Tip: Stop at the Visitor’s Center across from Marquette Park to get a map and guide book. Happy trails to you as you set off to make memories!
