There is a large green lawn area on the water’s edge of Lake Huron that is perfect for kite flying, bocce ball, croquet or just relaxing in comfortable Adirondack chairs.

All of the guest rooms have cable television, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, and ceiling fans. They do not provide any air-conditioned rooms; however, this is usually not an issue on the Island since the weather is normally mild. This resort offers a variety of accommodations from modest rooms to large specialty suites with fireplaces and Jacuzzis. High speed wireless connection is free to all resort guests throughout the property.

Mission Point is home to The Greens of Mackinac which is a beautiful 18-hole putting green right on the shore. You can watch freighters passing through the Straits of Mackinac while sharpening your putting skills.

Call Mission Point directly to enroll your children in the Kids Island Club. They will be entertained with games, swimming, tours and crafts allowing you to enjoy some private time.

Resort amenities include an outdoor pool and hot tubs, bicycle rentals, lawn games, a movie theater showing the latest movies on weekends, a gym and health club, and live entertainment. There is also the five-story Tower Museum, offering spectacular views of the surrounding waterways. Each level has exhibits about the Island and the Straits of Mackinac. You will want your camera when you reach the top level.

There are a variety of restaurants at the Resort so you can grab a quick snack or enjoy a formal dinner while listening to piano music. The Bistro on the Greens even has an outdoor fireplace which is a very cozy spot on a cool day.
