Insider Tip:

If you arrive in Pellston late and want to spend the night before venturing on, there is a Holiday Inn Express (231-539-7000) right across the street. Marcia has stayed there on occasion and found it to be very nice and extremely convenient. The best reason to stay the night is to eat dinner at Dam Site Inn (231-539-8851) in Pellston. It is a “must do” at least once every summer just for the fresh lake perch.
