The Pontiac Lodge offers a convenient downtown location in a casual, comfortable setting at a great value. What a combination! In addition, they are open year-round for anyone who would like to experience Mackinac Island in the off-season. So pack up your cross country skis and reserve your room.

All rooms at this Lodge have a private bath, cable TV and most have air conditioning. There are a couple of apartments that do not have air conditioning so take that into consideration if booking a stay during hot weather. Interested in a Jacuzzi Tub? Be sure to inquire because they are available in select rooms.

Rates vary throughout the year depending on the season and various special events such as the Lilac Festival. This is definitely a good choice for the budget minded who want to spend the night on Mackinac Island. Although there are no amenities, guests frequently remark on the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the establishment.

The Village Inn Restaurant, commonly known as the V.I. is adjacent to the Lodge and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner year round. They are renowned for serving delicious planked whitefish.

Insider Tip: In order to reserve the room of your choice, call as early as possible for a reservation during a festival, holiday, or the annual the Sailboat Races.
