Boyne Mountain Ski Resort

Boyne Mountain Ski Resort is our first choice to enjoy a northern Michigan Winter vacation. It's a fantastic place in the spring, summer and fall too. Everything you need is right there on the resort property from lodging, downhill or cross country ski rental to snowboard or skates rental too.

There are a lot of exciting winter snow activities and you don't have to be an expert to enjoy them!

The resort offers great schools or private instruction for everyone in the family. There are some fun and relaxing indoor activities as well.

The resort is located just a short 10 minute trip from Boyne City, with great shops and home to the Red Mesa Grill known for some tasty Mexican food. Kathy's favorite is their fish taco.  She says that it's  pure yummy!

And only 20 minutes from downtown Petoskey or Bay Harbor, Michigan that's open year round.

is known for its Avalanche Indoor Water Park that young and old alike love to enjoy after a cold day on the slopes.

Or, for those who would enjoy some private and relaxing time, the Solace Spa is superb.

Choose from two lodges that have outdoor hot tubs as well as heated outdoor and indoor pools.

The Boyne Mountain Ski Resort’s Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa is open year round. It has an incredible indoor-outdoor pool where you can swim from the indoors to the outdoors! This is a very interesting feature and lots of fun! Please note that this pool is only for the Mountain Grand Lodge guests.

Clock Tower Lodge which is right next to the slopes also has an outdoor heated pool plus a huge hot tub. All guests of the Resort are able to use these pools at the Clock Tower Lodge year round.

While sitting in either one of these pools watch your kids come down the zip line which ends right near the pools.

If you prefer something a little more rustic, choose to stay at one of the mountain cabins.  They are located in a lovely wooded area and provide privacy.  They each have a kitchen, a fireplace for those chilly nights, and a hot-tub on the deck.

Whichever lodging you choose, you will be able to enjoy wonderful amenities for your special northern Michigan vacation.

Insider Tip: Your lift tickets are good at either Boyne Mountain Ski Resort or Boyne Highlands located in quaint Harbor Springs just 6 miles north of Petoskey.
