Mackinac Island Rentals

Mackinac Island Rentals are the perfect alternative to staying in a bed and breakfast or a small hotel especially if your Mackinac Island vacation is longer than a week!

vacation rental Mackinac Island Insider Tips

There are some wonderful homes and condos for rent on the Island. So why stay in a cramped room, especially with an active family, when you can rent a house, cabin, cottage or condo?

When you rent a home you will definitely get to know the quaintness and appeal of Mackinac Island to all of its year round community members and summer residents as well.

Renting in the June will let you watch the season come alive. The Lilac Festival is a huge event and filled with a week’s worth of fun activities. The parade is the highlight and a true “small-town America” tradition on Mackinac Island.

July renters will experience the 4th of July celebrations and toward the end of the month, the wonderful Festival of the Horse. This festival is growing in popularity and is jammed with parades, great events, and equine demonstrations.

August brings the Music Festival which offers concerts in the park and at several venues, informative lectures, and Jam sessions. The Fudge Festival is also in August. Many of the restaurants and pubs feature special fudge related items on their menus.

For those who love the other seasons, there is always something happening on the Island, so give it a try! Who knows, you may find yourself looking for real estate on this unique island someday!
