Mackinac Island Restaurants Seabiscuit Cafe

Mackinac Island Restaurants Seabiscuit Cafe is a favorite with visitors and Island residents alike. What's super is that they open in April and close late in October. The restaurant's hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. which is perfect when you are on vacation and ready to eat a scrumptious meal!
Brick walls, race horse motif and a beautiful old-style wooden bar set the mood for this cozy, friendly restaurant with a great staff and yummy food. Sisters Debra Orr and Sandra Orr renovated a former bank building and established the Seabiscuit Café. Located on Main Street, it is welcoming and ready to serve you.
Seabiscuit has a full bar as well as an excellent selection of wines. The menu is casual and varied offering appetizers to desserts and everything in between including the White Fish Rueben, a definite blue ribbon winner! Other menu favorites include The Triple Crown sandwich and the Cherry Cobb Salad.
For a fun-filled day, rent a bike at Orr Kids Bike Shop, pick up a Seabiscuit lunch, and enjoy a picnic on the Island. You can call the Bike Shop in advance at (906) 847-3211 to reserve your
Ride and Dine adventure.
